Wow, that’s one magnificent picture! What beautiful fall colours amid the huge building,
This is the Le Chateau Frontenac Hotel in Quebec City. It is one in a series of hotels built by Canadian Pacific Railway in the late 1800s or early 1900s. They were constructed across the country to accommodate early rail travellers. St. Andrews in NB, this one in Quebec, Chateau Laurier in Ottawa, The Royal York in Toronto, Chateau Lake Louise in AB, and The Empress in Victoria. They all look like old chateaux.I have stayed in three of them - all charmingly grand. Most still serve a "high tea" in the afternoons - elegantly formal and a real treat.Sandra
This is awesome. Wow. Would love to see it. Thanks. :)
