You got it Jkc - QB as its known around here. What a coincidence - we have a friend in Sooke and have been there many times, and we lived in Victoria for 11 years before moving here, (the best move we ever made).

We were in Chemainus last week, I expect you know Ladysmith - it has a wonderful bakery and so we have a lot in common !! Have never been to Mexico - sounds as though you're really happy there. (❀ᴗ❀)

jkc

No, Bubble, I'm a Californian living in Mexico for 7 years now. I did live on Vancouver Island (Sooke and Victoria) for a year and just loved it, the Gulf Islands and the wonderful Canadian people. Your puzzle of the mural on the town theatre put me in mind of Chemainus, but the the Old Schoolhouse Art Center is in Qualicum Beach, no?

Bubble

Hi J - if you look on my puzzle pages you will guess ! Are you Canadian as well ? (❀ᴗ❀)

jkc

Hi Bubble! Where on Vancouver Island??

Bubble

Jkc got in before me Haze, was going to say everyone, but everyone wants to congratulate the great actress on her wonderful performance - a lot of fun, thanks Babe (❀ᴗ❀)

Hahaha you got it jkc!!! So glad you were able to figure that out! And thanks for sharing it with me. Have a great evening my friend♥

jkc

Oh, wait-- I think I've got it! She's just finished starring in a play and she's taking off her makeup while all the playgoers have come to say thank her for a wonderful performance. The flowers are congratulatory, no? Shows you just how far this scene is from my life!!

Girl you have great eyes. Food for thought. I did not see the bloody towel as you saw.
I see she is sitting at a table or desk with a mirror in front of her. So that is plaster on her forehead?
She has clippers or some such thing(s) in front of her that I thought she was using to put together teh flowers. Hahaha. Thanks, jkc. I thought she was working in a flower shop and those people were buying or had come to pay for them. Lets see if anyone else does the puzzle and comments. Thanks jkc. Your imput was very much appreciated.

jkc

OH! I was confused by the bloody towel over her arm, the bandaids on her face, why/where is she seated? I thought maybe the flowers were (hospital?) gifts to her for some reason and why are so many of the people dressed in top hats and tails?? I wondered if the cover might be a reference to something that happened in NY in 1936, So many questions!

Haze2

The florist is sharing a secret and in the interim she has a steady line of customers building up. This is the way I see it ♥

What happened??
