What a lovely day it has been and now I can spend the rest of it with all of you.

I read each and every word you wrote and smiled and laughed and thought about all of them. I promise not to do any work at this party and, I assure you that I really did allow myself to have fun today. I had brunch in our dining room and the employees here gathered around and sang "Happy Birthday" to me while we were having dessert!

There was a bingo party in the afternoon and I was very lucky there and won several games! We only play for 25 cents per card, but over the 7 months since I moved here, those quarters do add up
since I seem to be lucky.

Then it was off to an italian restaurant for dinner with my sister and some members of her family. It was a long and leisurely meal and we spent a lot of time talking about our memories of the past. That's always lots of fun.

And now, I get to spend more time with all of you. The time I spend with you and the special words we share with each other is pure gold. There is no other place like this on the internet and no other friends that are more special. It is here that Ank gives her time and talent and makes it possible for each of us to celebrate our birthdays, since she prepares such a perfectly personalized birthday card.

It is here that we all met Goofie, through his Mum Impie. Each day we came here to see what he was up to and whether or not he and Mr. Pigeon were still playing tag. We listened to Goofie talk and we worried when he got older and was late getting here one day. It is here that we have enjoyed sharing special words with each other and sharing in the ups and downs of each of our lives.

It is here that we've learned that there's nothing more special then people who care and take the time to write it down and share it. Jigidi is a very special community of caring people and I am proud to be a member. Thank you for making my birthday such a special day. May the joy you brought to me be returned to you a hundred-fold! ♥♥♥

I'm glad to see you Jason and Val, Carrie will love it. Good that there is room for the cake and wine cause we will celebrate. ♥☺♥

Your comments at my puzzles are always much appreciated. I just want you to know that the beautiful words in the poem you sent me last year when Goofie crossed the Rainbow Bridge, came straight into my heart and it really helped me to think it could be words coming from my kitty boy.....I've copied the poem and saved it in my Word files. I've sent it also in a card to my best friend when her kitty passed away last July (just changed the number of years)....she too was very much touched by those beautiful words.
