Thanks Robyn for coming along and I always like your comments!
Very nice Dave - I like the patina effect!
Excellent point Toto. I'm curious, now...Thanks Cathy-there is art of different forms all over the town, alot.I'll have to ask her about that if she ever comes down from the mountains, Sandy! :)
Don't let Suzy see that fountain. I heard she likes to take a dip in them.
Wow! This is a spectacular fountain!! I love it!! : )
It's ironic that that the statue is a fountain considered that after he fell from the sky, Icarus drowned in the ocean. Perhaps the fountain is meant to represent the ocean . . or perhaps it is simply a fountain.
Thats an interesting view of it BrightSky. Thanks!
Hmm. I'm clearly in a cantankerous mood & don't belong on Jigidi tonight. So, no comment. Here's a photo that adds drama to it, gives it some "oommpphh," but what viewer on the sidewalk could see it that way?http://www.redbubble.com/people/muninn/works/6916431-too-close-icarus-fountain-ames-ia
