And here's me thinking it was open, because it was closed, silly me !

Target crashed and burned here like an old sputnik, mpp - but not beforeI did get one good deal out of them ! (❀ᴗ❀)

That's me and Max...your morning drive jocks. (Insert annoying sound effect here)… I have to carry the load by myself on weekends while Max does his community service... wait, what's that? Oh... seems the station manager says I'm off on weekends, too. They didn't know how to get me to stop showing up... well, unlike Max, I am not in a work-release program… I think Target is hiring...

rswestley

You two are always good for a morning chuckle... thank you!

Max_Tooney

Whew, what a relief! The prison van was inadvertently parked in the handicapped zone.

No, I was stood-up. There was a kid sweeping up a pile of ashes - I thought they'd just cleaned the grill. You don't think... nah...

Max_Tooney

Did Descartes actually show up? He must be every bit of 300 years old by now.

I must move to a different time zone. I seemingly miss all the meaningful conversations inspired by the intellectual postings of mpp. Wasn't yesterday's discussion was about why ham and cheese sandwiches on rye are considered the cornerstone of democracy? The mention of Descartes brings to mind Diogenes, the Greek cynic that roamed the earth holding his lantern high with his mangy mutt Rataplan, in search of an open restaurant. I have many heroes, both past and present (Diogenes, mpp, Max, msbonne and BB are at the top of my current list). Who could not love a man that lived in a wine barrel, had a dog name Rataplan ('Rata', Greek for politician and 'plan', actually it was 'misplanned' - Greek for a biped with four legs, a tail and pees on carpets) and was the founder of Cynacism? Gotta love those Greeks... and they make a tasty salad...

Where is nanab (alias BB) today? I hope she didn't fall down a rabbit hole. Oh well, I could use a visitor today

Thanks once again mpp for the smiles... have you ever considered being a plastic surgeon?

msbonne

Only if there is a storm not coming.

If the door is closed, does a window open?

Max_Tooney

Yes, that's what it all hinges on...

morepiecesplz

I see... Zen...it all depends on which side of the door I'm on..?

Max_Tooney

Ha, good point!

msbonne

Or an open or shut case.

Max_Tooney

Don't be flummoxed; it's an open and shut case.

msbonne

Not to worry, when it is not closed, it will be open.
