Look how the water and stones play with the rocks here... look how the side of the white rock has been made into waves almost - kettles have been started and given up again....

Certainly Ardy - if you saw how this brook has been treated... thanks :-))))))

.. and as you say Lela "plenty to think about" - yes certainly when you see how water has treated this piece of the earth that has started looking quite different than how it does now... It has broken down and moved around, has made holes and sculptures - played like a child with gigantic muscles.. thanks :-)))))

Peggy - I think that if you just once have had something to do with water that taught you more than you normally know - you'll continue being fascinated by it's way of "behaving"! I wish SO much that I could show you all the photos that belong to this visit because they show SO much... thanks :-))))

Another wonderful photo .... certainly plenty to think about here!

Another reminder that water is a powerful force. Thanks, Hanne & Bent.

You really see how the water changes things here. Years ago (again) I was a "Culligan Lady" sold water purification and soft water treatment products. Our spiel started out with explaining water and how it affects things, etc. That was also where I got my info about the corrosion, etc, Just look at all the various holes and lines - that is a million or so years probably. Makes the rock look like a block of swiss cheese.
