Mandy, I guess you'll have to get more flowers to put in the planters. That's the only solution I can think of, or you're going to have a bunch of empty ones.
Oh No Wendy, I'm not that greedy!! Since Hester has been kind enough to offer to share I am happy to wait for her sledgement to arrive! (Although if you have already begun creating ones specially for me, I would still be delighted)... I just don't want to put you to lots of extra work!!
Mandy, you snuck your comment in so I didn't see it until just now. So you want a whole new set of planters PLUS some of Hester's? LOL I'll see what I can do about it. ;-)Magda, absolutely! :-)
Good to know, Wendy, that that was not an international crime scene LOL!
Hester, I'm glad that you took the best medicine for your aching bones. I noticed that in the most recent British Medical Journal, Sauvignon Blanc was listed as being the best cure for Snow Shovel Ailments. My guess is that North Wales hasn't printed out their most recent Medical Journal, so I'm assuming that you were guided by the Brits. How could I forget the Celebrity Squares puzzle I made for Growly? I like the one where he's hanging over the ledge of that Inn or restaurant. It's still there!I'll make sure to tell Mandy, but now I've decided that I should make her her own. She's pretty special too. :-)I see that you removed your cosy duvet....and are hanging on by a thread. At least you saved Growly.
Thank thank thank you Wendy :~))And Hester - I await the husky sled with anticipation LOL!!
Willy, before I reply to Hester- the adorable bear is Growly who happens to live with Hester. Because he's so cool, Hester often posts puzzles that include Growly's latest escapades. I sneak over to her puzzles now and then to see what's going on. :-)
Magda, there was no rhyme nor reason for the different colors- I just wanted it to be bright. Hester liked the other ones I made, so I made these along the same lines. You ask where I found these planters? You'll find this hard to believe but they under my bed. My outdoor flowers don't need planters. LOLPJ, Uh Oh- I just got done saying that my flowers didn't need planters. OK, a few of them needed them in the beginning. ;-)Thanks so much, Janine. At least I could finally see 'your' hotels. ;-)OK, Hester, I'm replying to you in a new message box. I want to make sure I don't 'lose' what I've already typed up here.
I love the puzzle alot, and the bear makes it complete.Lovely and very speciale Wendy.Willy
Ps I shall look forward to solving this tomorrow ...when I finally crawl out from under this cosy duvet! :-))
So ....I was wondering where the work shy little critter was!! There was me and the Best Beloved shovelling snow for all we were worth and no sign of Mr Stop-Out Bear to help! Even Freddy was helping in his own sweet way, chasing round and round and digging holes in the white stuff. And now, after a long soak to ease my aching limbs, dinner, 2 glasses of medicinal Sauv Blanc and a little stress nap in front of the telly I discover the AWOL bear has been taking things into his own hands, oops, paws! LOL Thank you Wendy dear, the planters are delightful and since , in these unseasonal arctic conditions I shall not be able to fill them with spring flowers, the bear shall be allowed to play with them for a while. I may be mistaken ,but I think he thinks he is back in the good old Celebrity Squares days and is thinking inside the "box" , as opposed to outside of it. Remember that great puzzle which you made for him? I shall apply a small amount of lubricant to aid the corpulent little bruin to ease himself out and then we can appreciate the planter's beauty. Please tell Mandy I shall send a couple down south by husky sled....if I can persuade Freddy to get into some bondage harnesses!! ;-)). Thank you again for this delightful gem!
I love your planters, and the colorful blinds behind them. It looks like"Growly-in-the-box"......so very sweet Wendy.....I won't confuse you anymorelike I did with the "Hotels"....lol. Thank you dear, I love all your whole set...... will C U later, Janine.
Thanks Wendy - for the info. With such colorful planters - no wonder you get such glorious and fun flowers :-)))PJ
very amusing, the comments I mean. I see some flags on the planters, Japanese, Swedish and even A Swiss cross. The colors have been altered on purpose, which makes me think of some hanky-panky. Where did you " find* these planters dear Wendy???
Mandy, I'll make you your own special set. It turns out that Hester was shoveling snow and is taking a long soak in the tub. So she's not even aware that Growly is stuck.
PJ, a planter is a fancy container in which to grow flowers, pretty much like a flower pot. I'm giving all the planters to Mandy since Growly has been stuck for over two hours now.
Oh Wendy - thanks - double fun: great, wonderful puzzle and even more fun comments. I better google the word 'planter' - I may understand more :-)PJ
Mandy, do you want a shipment of these? I'll tell you what. I don't trust Hester to take care of the planters...seeing as how she's left Growly to his own devices....er....vices. So I think I'll have the mail people take them back, and send them on to you.
Oh naughty Growly - I hope Hester arrives soon to save him from falling!! These are wonderful planters Wendy.... I wouldn't need to grow flowers if I had a few of these dotted round my garden... they'd brighten it up all on their own!!! How come Hester got a shipment and I didn't???
Edie, these are different ones. I had to make them extra bright because when a name is put in a title, psychologically it's a turn off for most puzzle solvers. This is a special puzzle for a special bear and I want to make sure it does well.Growly was trying to get out of the planter by bouncing up and down, and that's why it's tilted over. He's always getting into trouble. Just ask Hester. LOL
Are these extra planter from your flowers the other day? Looks like Growly is getting ready to tip out of it very soon. Lots of fun colours here. Thanks Wendy
Tootie, Growly is constantly getting into trouble, but since Hester is used to it, and Growly owns Hester, there's really nothing she can do about it.
Growly better get his act together or he's going to be in big trouble!
