Thank you robryan and warbler. It's a dandy, isn't it?

warbler

You don't even have to wash the window. Or the headlights. Or.... Great shot, Chickie!

robryan

A good find chickie - think the battery might be flat though.

chickiemama

Very funny young man. I think I see a typo in there. LOL

chickiemama

Thank you Hanne, Celeste and lyndee.

Were your little 14 yr old arms strong enough to turn the crank on that truck oddio?

oddio

(MommaChick, I am not giving my age away! I wouldn't even sell it. I love my age. And besides, all I said was my uncle's truck was old. That was in... oh, let's say.. 1970? No? well... when that happened, the truck in this picture was still out on the road doing its thing!)

lyndee

Looks a little like the one my son-in-law is restoring.........or at least they're both old and red!!!!!

CelesteH

nice looking old truck

Elfie

Indeed, it isn't from yesterday!! Thanks so very much Sandy!!

chickiemama

Thank you jcarroll, rigit, Patti, gnt, aggie, Robbie, oddio, Ank, ebkrueg and tex.

Has to climb a steep bank to get the pic, but escaped without a scratch Robbie. : )

You are giving your age away oddio.

texasstar7

I think we should remove the hood and plant lots of pretty flowers in it! Brighten up that thicket! Thanks, CM.

ebkrueg

Open both doors at the same time. If the truck doesn't sag in the middle, you're good to go.

puzzeljac

Do you think we can repair it Sandy, everyone would look at us, driving in that. lol

oddio

It's served its purpose, let it rest. :>)
(a Chevy pickup, circa 1950, I'd say. Newer than the one my uncle let me drive when I was 14.)

Robbiel

I hope you didn't get all scratched up in there chickie!! Cool photo, thanks.

gnt1041

PLG1958
