Happy 17th Birthday Tisket

Oh, indeed....she is a well-loved cat! Blessings. Atsutsita is so used to the routine here now she complains when it's not followed. For example, today is my bed sheets wash day and she was really upset that her "bed" on which she watches over the backyard, wasn't ready for her. She got herself into a snit for sure.

Trisket is beautiful. My first time to meet Her is today, 3/27/23.

Wow! By all accounts, another wonderful global kitty get-together and on top of all that, ginger lemon scones. It sure makes me wish I could grow fur and a wavy tail then perhaps I could sample all the goodies including Mrs Impie's apple tart and Goofie's catnip. Maybe next time. ♥♥♥♥

All the Wet Texas Kids would say was that it was a WONDERFUL party and god to see all their Jidigi friends again.
Tres DID have a rather big grin on his face though!!! ☺♥☺♥ I thing some paw holding went on but the don't kiss & tell rule was in affect!

Thank you so much, Tisket and Tisketsmum. Atsutsa woke up and told me all about the party, how everyone was so nice to Tisket and some brought snacks. He said everyone was very deferential to Tisket and played so nicely together outside and inside. I think he had a good time! You are very kind to host this so soon after returning from vacation. Thank you again.

Ecstatic is a good word to describe it. Atsutsa got home about 5 minutes ago with huge stars in his eyes....and he's now passed out on the end of the bed dreaming (his front paws wiggling ever so slightly). I'm sure with the opportunity to play a little, have some really good weed from Goofie's stash, and holding paws with his beloved, that he'll be sound asleep for a couple hours at least.

Thanks Impie, a nice piece of your apple tart will go down well this evening after an exhausting day. Still, I think everybody enjoyed themselves, and Tisket was ecstatic about having another chance to hold paws with Atsutsa again so soon. Anything for my precious kitty girl.

Thank you to all my friends, feline and human, for coming to my party. I've had a wonderful time and it felt right to stop for a moment to remember our friends who have crossed over the rainbow bridge. It was like they were here too.
Thank you for all the contributions of nibbles an catnip that made the party go with a swing.
I'm going to rest up now as I'm exhausted, but happy, and will dream of my sweetheart Atsutsa.

Just dropping by for a few seconds. Looks like everyone has been having a grand time. There's lots of paw holding going on between Tisket and Atsutsa. They can't seem to keep their eyes off one anther. I see Wimsey and the West Texas Kids are getting along famously. All the kitties seem to be enjoying the snacks and the ginger lemon scones and apple tart was so yummy! What a great get together for Tisket's birthday!

It's good to see all the kitties together again, having so much fun. I'm glad they all enjoy the catnip...yes since there's not being nibbled on anymore and the 'white flies' seem to have vanished as well, the power of the catnip should not be underestimated....so kitty mums and dads beware when you kiddo comes back home with coal black pupils and will act a bit strange....LOL
I just hope they will all pass customs without any delay, because the 'canip sniffer cat' can recognize them from a mile...;-))

Thanks for the invite,tisketsmum...it was a great party and I hope you will be able to rest up after we're all gone. Oh, and I left some apple tart in your fridge.... so be my guest! ♡

Oh, thank you for letting me/us know that they arrived safely. I'm not at all surprised by Atsutsa's behavior. Since he turned 11, 2 years ago, he's begun mellowing out a bit although he still has his moments. I suspect, after their working group meeting last Thursday, that Tisket and Atsutsa are still reminiscing about their dear departed friends today. But I'm sure they are having fun too. Hopefully no big tricks will be played on anyone. Anne

Well, the party is in full swing; it's a fine sunny day here so all the kitties are outside having fun.
Some of the older kitties, Tisket, Atsutsa, Wimsey etc. are sitting on the patio watching the youngsters run around; that catnip from Goofie's field has been very welcome Impie but I think they'll all be exhausted when the effect wears off :-))
It's now 1:30pm so I guess the party will break up about 4 o'clock as some of these felines have a long way to go home. By the way Calluna, the lemon scones are delicious thanks.
I'll let you know when all the kiddos have left but I wouldn't mind betting that Atsutsa will be last to leave as I don't think he's let go of Tisket's paw since he got here, and she's loving it. ♥♥♥

And Atsutsa left here at 5 AM so he's well on his way!

By the time you wake up, Wimsey should just about be there. He is really looking forward to celebrating Tisket's birthday and seeing everyone. He's bringing kitty snackies and my fresh baked ginger lemon scones for you and T-dad as a thank you for hosting. It's a bit "coals to Newcastle" but its what I love most to bake. :-))

"God's in His heaven all's right with the world". Such is the natural order of things Tisket but always be mindful not to be too harsh in your orders to your house slaves as they are only human and do try to do their best always. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Atsutsa has just phoned to say he's on his way home. He assured me he was a gentleman, and that I should thank Georgie and Tisket for allowing him in the house. He and Tisket were making birthday plans of their own is my guess.
