Connie, I often wonder what is going on behind those greenish eyes. Sometimes he seems to be trying to tell me, but i'm inadequate to the task of totally understanding. Food, attention, playing fetch, okay. But there are so many other things I cannot fathom. Keeps me humble. nan

It must be hard for animals to understand that someone or something is gone. Maybe they think it's still there somewhere, if they wait long enough. Wouldn't you love to understand what is in their minds? Great photo nan. connie
