jals, I think most of us are guilty of that!
Max,If I was smart, I'd start getting ready for next Christmas now, but I've never been accused of being that smart. ha ha
hmmm I, too, stay in when it's that hot out. And when I walk, I go to the larger stores with air-conditioning and walk their perimeter aisles to get my steps in. No bugs, no humidity.
Yeah, forgot about the summerathon...
They do them in July (Christmas in...") - can't be just here. It's a welcome break from 97 degree heat...
Well, they will be cranking up the Christmas movies again in just (are you ready for this?) eight months and eight days...
Lacy played in Mean Girls. I had to google her since I don't watch the Hallmark Channel. I must be the only one here who doesn't.
I guess I want some believable fantasy. Like, "it could happen, but probably never would." They're writing "that doesn't make sense and would never ever happen."
lol, the DMV. (And yes, I singled her out unfairly. I know she's a very nice person in real life.)
Lacy Chabert is one of the better actresses Hallmark has. Since the vast majority of her characters are caterers/chocolatiers/restaurateurs/B&B owners/catering restaurateurs/vintners/chocolate caterers/B&B owners selling chocolate wine, she could still get employment at the DMV...
And without Hallmark Channel, Lacey Chabert would have to get a real job.
I've noticed that TV / Movie characters can dish out and take lots more physical abuse than real people can. That's one thing we as viewers tend to shrug-off all the time. Also there are a lot more coincidences on the screen than there are in real life. Examples are too numerous to list. However, if art didn't imitate life--we'd have no soap operas. And without soap operas we'd have no washed-up soap opera stars. Without washed-up soap opera stars, we'd have no Hallmark Channel.
Did I detect a note of snarkiness in that reply? I hope I'm mistaken..!If writers only wrote what 'would work or happen' we'd have, you know, real life..we seem to be a group that wants more.
Yep, all series eventually 'jump the shark'. A dramatic downturn in viewership is all that will 'kill' a show nowadays.
I have always liked it since it started although, it is becoming more and more ridiculous. I wish television writers would just ask themselves if what they're proposing is even feasible, because we watch a lot of shows and remark, "There is no way that would work, or happen."
I hope that someday I can binge watch that series. I only made it through the first season when I tried before.
Sorry MPP. I understood yours was a volunteer position and you can quit anytime you like. Ha, Max, you didn't expect people to read CGI as Computer Generated Image instead of just Cee Gee I. You are wise to fear the Reddington.
We'll make sure you get all the credit, and you can even appear on the talk show circuit as a fringe benefit. Maybe even a book-signing, if you play your cards right.
..."See? Gee, I..."? I work too hard for you guys..
Raymond Reddington? :::shudder:::jals, you got me on that one. It is redundant!
Also MPP, if you need any help you can always contact Raymond Reddington. He has a wealth of informants and contacts and seems to be able to find even the deepest hidden in the underworld.
MPPI am glad you are able to stay on top of Max and his shenanigans, as I have too much going on to do more than peep in once in a while.
Isn't the generated in the CGI-generated effects comment, redundant?
See? Gee, I try to keep you informed...
Invisibility? I can SEE the possibilities!
rswestley is working with invisibility...maybe he will help you
CGI would come in handy if you were on the run.
Hmmmm....admitting you are experimenting with altering your appearance...interesting...
The upper image is actually me before my 'wake-up' coffee...
