Nice one! Again! Thanks, PG!
These are anhingas (sp) or snake birds. The do everything the Cormorants do but are a little different. This is one of the ponds they built to help filter the water with plants. The boom slows the flow down and allows the plants to help filter the water before it is returned to the swamp. You can walk all around this pond and be dry for a change.
Nice shot, pg!
Are these Double Crested Cormorants?
That swamp looks well taken care of for visitors. Nice shot young man.
They have a graceful shape, seems they sure like their 15 mins. of fame!
Almost looks like they are perched on some sort of boom to keep nasty things out of the water.
Lol Got them all lined up!
Great capture... Two questions.... Are these Cormorants and what are they perched on??? Oops three... Is this still part of the swamp? Thanks PG.... :) :)
They sure are posing for you... Cute....
