Thanks for that Bill. Wondered if some of your American images were down to a choice of film. This damned digital gets in the way of a lot of reasoning
I used to know someone whose idea of fun was to do puzzles - real ones, and big - that were ALL one colour! Couldn't see any sense to that myself. I find that bringing down the contrast a little tends to soften the colour overall and bring out some of the otherwise hidden detail. Doesn't always work but when it does, it's quite effective. I'm glad you like it, too.
That went better Bill. Think my problem is down to some of your pictures having large areas of one or similar colours. Nothing to do with my ineptitude......Of course. By the by, how did you get that gentle, pale aspect to your images. Can't quite describe it but I like it a lot
