You want for nothing in your hometown, Marina!!! :)
Marina, your home is beautiful, blue and full of sun. Thank you for the demonstration and your beautiful photo ♥:))
Bekka, the tourists don't come near the residential area, they go where the attractions are. But I don't swim there in June-July-August because it is crowded.
Marina, do you ever get tired of all those tourists?
Suzy, My hometown has become an attractive resort to sea bathers because the sea water is clean and good for families. There are rocky parts, where people do some fishing and a sandy beach for the rest. The community offers hundreds of activities to attract all ages of visitors. There are clubs, discos, restaurants, bars, fast food shops, areas for bicycles, roller skating, graffiti, playing different sort of sports for all ages (sailing incl). There are open air cinemas, playgrounds for kids, puppet shows and coffee shops. At Christmas we even have ice skating too.
Bekka, it is nice to live there and be part of the local community. I moved there after my parents died, as a tribute, I suppose to their love for the sea.
Jaklien, Jillian and Lunie, it feels good to live so near the sea, you see it in all of its moods : nice and warm in the summer, with frothy waves in autumn and spring and tall, rough waves in winter. The best part is in winter when the wind spreads salt in the air : it is the best thing for me to fill my lungs with salty weather.
Thank you wammetje.
All looks peaceful in your hometown!
