Thank you Jojo, yes Jim is better but still has a terrible cough, but his BP has settled down thank you for asking☺♥
Deanna we have been having beautiful sunny days so have been doing weeding so getting behind on Jigidi, I hope your weather has been kind to you☺♥
Beautiful shade of pink snapdragon. Thanks Val. Hope your Jim is feeling better soon.
Yes Val, that's very nice for me on this flower. Self seed into the soil is its pleasant property. Thank you for your kind welcome and I send you a greeting with the wish of nice warm weather ♥:))
Thank you Deanna it is always lovely to see you. The snap dragons seem to like our garden and self seed which I love Hugs
Val, I'm sorry to write late. I love this modest and beautiful flower, thank you for your beautiful photo. It blooms from spring to autumn and lasts long fresh in the vase. In the cathedral of Reims, France, I saw a huge white bouquet of them and it is an unforgettable picture in my mind ♥:))
Janet along with his BP problems his terrible cold does not help especially going out tonight Hugs♥♥♥
Val I'm very sorry that you are worried about Jim. I do hope he is improving, Hugs to you dear friend. ♥♥♥
Suzy thank you☺♥
A bonnet anyone would be happy to sport!
This is great ☺ ♥ ☺
Irena thank you I love pink too☺♥
Pretty photo and flower. Likewise, color. I love pink flowers.
Janet you are so right, it is Snap dragon I just could not remember how to spell Antirrihinum thanks to Alurofile and forgot its common name, been too worried about Jim. Hugs♥♥♥Alurofile thank you, you are correct, it is snap dragon (see above) I was a bit distracted thank you for visiting☺♥Ardy you are correct, obviously I was in too big a hurry usually I look up names if I am unsure. Jim has not been himself the last few days, so hope new pills does the trick. Hope you get your cooler weather we have enjoyed our rain Hugs my friend♥♥Nillie I did the unforgivable used the incorrect name, it should be what Alurofile said. We have a lot of these snap dragons in our garden, they also self seed too so not in a hot climate☺♥Lunie I am so glad we can enjoy this together, Snap Dragon lol it is a pretty pink☺♥Jill I had the wrong name oops, did not think I would be on Jigidi tonight been busy with Jim and Doctor etc Hugs♥Sissel lovely to see you thank you for visiting☺♥☺
Yes I know this as a Snapdragon too Val, it's very pretty. I have some mini ones growing. Thanks and hugs. ♥♥♥
Beautiful pink! Do you know the botanical name? In the US, the common name "Granny bonnet" apparently refers to columbine (Aquilegia vulgaris), although I've only known it as columbine. This pink beauty does sort of look like a snap dragon (Antirrhinum majus)
Pretty, Val. Reminds me of a snap dragon. Love the color. Another 40+ C day here with the heat index really bad. Inside I am very comfortable. Maybe a break sometime tomorrow or Tuesday when a cold front comes through. I don't ever remember it being this hot for so long. Take care. Hugs♥♥
lovely pink, and beautiful flower. I never saw this palnt before, so probably it will not survive in hot and dry climate. p.s. At first I thought that it is a sort of "Lion mouth", but no... :-((
So pretty, other pink ladies like you would love this, just as i do Val. TFS.
Really pretty little bonnets, thanks Val. Hope Jim's check up goes well tomorrow.
This is beautiful Val :-))) Thanks
Thank you for visiting Eva☺♥
Beautiful, these are my favorite, thank you Val ☺♥
