This is a photo I took last month in the "Old Town" section of Newport, Oregon. I have found that most jigidi solvers like the color red in their puzzles. It seems I mostly photograph scenes with earth tone colors. So when I saw this tavern with red trim and a red pickup, I took a photo of it for a puzzle. I also found it amusing that they misspelled "tavern." Perhaps they had when too many when putting up the letters for the sign.

You were right about it making a fun puzzle. :-) I also loved the words above the door, having heard all those words many times in growing up here in the South and in the country. :-)) I agree about the "backward E" -- that it is a joke because that is a tavern/bar. Great photo, Terry, and thanks for sharing it. Love the colors except red is not my favorite color but it looks GOOD on this building. :-))

PW, I used to hear"Dingbat" all the time. Haven't heard the word used for some time now, Terry

Lever, I missed the sign, Terry

Edith Bunker would probably felt right at home there, because Archie was always calling her Dingbat.

The sign over the door says---"Home of the Winos, Dingbats and Riff Raff."

So cute. Not misspelled: just a reversed letter, like Toys я Us

The letters are too neatly aligned.....it was done on purpose.
Love the sign just above the doors!
Thanks, for the share!
