Trouble is the gang will probably catch some other innocent person.

Hi Patricia, I understand what you mean do not ask my wife to sew or to put a button on as she has not got a clue Nor did my Mother, so have to go to her mates house for repairs. Her Mother was excellent at sewing and embroidery and her Dad was a great Carpenter worked for his Dad as a coffin maker but did not like the dead, so left his Dad to be a cabinet maker. Youngest sons Greek partner is like you, loves machines and tools and her parents were teachers. LOL!!!

I'm rather academic, but love all my power tools. I assembled kitchen cabinets for a friend and wired up all his light switches. I also laid a kitchen floor for my mum (with proper underlay) and assembled all her kitchen cabinets. Just don't ask me to knit and crochet...

I found the puzzle Patricia and left my comments hope not to have bored you but it is all down to the Ancient Romans would you believe!!
Eldest sons car is one of those new high powered VW Golfs so his friends say they were looking for a new high powered car to crash into. But he has all the other cars details and left them with his friends, nice that they are in the motor industry. He came round tonight and I sorted most of the damage out but will have to take the door card off to release the dent in the door at the week end.
Sadly all sons are academics not a clue about engineering not sure if they know what a screw driver is. LOL!!! Singing of now to watch Wales. He He.

I'm always scared that that might happen to me one day, Clive. I want to get a camera that films the back. I'm just sorting out my claim with TfL (£4,500 worth of damage). I hope eldest son gets it all sorted and that the culprits will get hung out to dry.

Also to let you know eldest son was court up in one of those car scams today, Romanians in an old car with four occupants bashed into him and claiming injuries. (Will sort the dents out for him in his car no problem) but there was another car as witness but only got out to help the other party.
What they do not know is my sons friends are also Romanian ( Been friends for 15 years) and are in the tyre business so they are going to sort this mess out for him. LOL!!

Hi Lori, and all !. I have been busy helping friends so have been absent. Sat down tonight before I watch Wales play with the round ball and thought I wounder if Lori has come back and there you are I am so pleased to see you back and will try and catch up tomorrow with your puzzles and with Patricia's puzzles. Have caught up with some friends puzzles but still behind.
I will also do some more painting as well then we can compete again. LOL!!!

I'm so glad you were not personally involved in the accident Patricia .I think that bus driver 's behaviour is shameful ,he could have left you a note ! I'm glad someone took photos so that you can report him to the police .
And what a great coïncidence the BMW manager's wife works in the accident claims department of that bus line ,that's very good news for you .Well Patricia I just hope it turns out OK and most of all I 'm glad you are fine.

Of course not, Jaklien! I had earlier posted a photograph of a Himalayan Blue Poppy and Lori kindly produced this lovely version of it to cheer me up - all my friends here know I've had a rough year.

I was very fortunate in that a van driver took fantastic pics on his phone and left me his phone number. He has since emailed them to me. He's my HERO! He sad the bus driver got out, looked and then drove off - which is an offence (so I've reported it to the police). The best bit is that the manager of BMW, once I told him the story, informed me that his wife works in the accident claims dept. of that particular bus line (a red double-decker London bus). What a fantastic coincidence! He's going to put it all in her hands to deal with so I'm hoping it will all go smoothly.

Oh, my goodness! I'm so touched! Thank you a million times, Lori. This is so pretty and bright and has cheered me up immensely on a grey, drizzly day in London and not looking forward to my trip to BMW to get an estimate for the damage caused by the bus (which I've reported to the police).
