Okay Tom, I looked it up for sure: Chevrolet sold 1,456,288 in '57 and 1,233,477 in '58. Ford sold 1,493,617 in '57 and 1,028,160 in '58. '57 was a good year and '58 was not. Plymouth only sold half as many in '57 and only a third as many in '58. Longer and lower was what the customer's wanted. Pat.
I don't know which sold better, but they each are beautiful and classy, time honored designs. I may take a wild guess, tho, and guess the Chevy was then, and still is, most popular.
