That sure doesn't sound fun!!!!

cakes1947 Don't think it was comfortable, the wind was blowing and it was like outside.

Hi willey, mypup & jirma ~ I agree, it does appear to be a 2 or 3 holer!!
That's so funny, have a 2 holer & think you're rich. LOL
You sound like a happy traveler driving along and see a ''latrine'' on the side of the road. LOL

jirma48

In our country they called it a latrine, and the last time I met it was on the way through the Caucasus, where it stood next to the road for the needs of drivers.

I grew up with a "two-seater". I thought we were rich.....

A fine "edifice" in time of need, indeed. Looks like a "two or three, holer," side by side, with a tree full of gourd bird houses to adorn the surroundings. Notice the barely visible "half moon" above the door to identify its purpose. I've been to other similar sites many times.

Hi jirma & Beth ~ It's called an *outhouse* or as you call them, country toilets!!! You got me on the Purple Martins!! ;)))

ebkrueg

I wonder if they really get Purple Martins in the gourd house. Good place for a Martin house. I never could get them to stay, here.

jirma48

I'm sorry, the booth reminds me more of a country toilet from the last century.
