Lighthouse in Oland, Sweden
Why are you reporting this puzzle?
In Today’s Daily Jigsaw Puzzle, we’re at the south cape of the Swedish island Oland in the Baltic Sea. The beautiful lighthouse you see is the Lighthouse” Långe Jan” (“Tall Jan”).
It is the tallest lighthouse in Sweden and is built of limestones from an old chapel.
So much history this lighthouse has witnessed and also carries. It is believed to have been built by Russian prisoners of war in 1785, and the 41.6 meters high lighthouse is still in use – we are impressed by and love this fact ♥
