And it wouldn't be safe for your grandchildren either.
Well I grew up on the Mediterranean coast with lots and lots of oleanders around and they are supposed to be poisonous too but I've never heard of any of us kids getting poisoned..But if your little terrier chew on plants then it might be dangerous for him.

@Andie2a1383 I think you are right. I took some pictures with phone camera so I could go to the nursery and check it out. I have heard it is poisonous, so then I may not want it as I would want to plant it in my fenced backyard and we have a small terrier mix that likes to chew on plants.

I don't know if you could find its name Sharon but I think it's Thevetia peruviana https://www.fleurdestropiques.net/thevetia-peruviana-laurier-orange-jeune-plant-c6x2951586

Thank you @PLG1958 and @Raaike I like this tree even when it isn't blooming. There are some more scattered around the neighborhood. I am going to go to a nursery and see if they can tell me what it is. I would like to have one in my yard to look out at when I sit on my patio. It is just the right size for a small yard.

Very beautiful, that soft rose-orange color. :-))) ♥

What a beauty! Thanks Sharon!
