irisriver

Delightful! Many smiles!☺

Robbiel

Yes Shian, very much so, thank you!

Shian2

Gorgeous, Thanks, Robbie, would have cost the parents a small fortune for this swish party decorations alone. :)

Robbiel

Hee hee, thanks Francine and Ardy!

bookish

I just learnt a new word. ☺

ringleader

I agree with Kirsten. I like learning what terms and expressions mean in other places.

Robbiel

Ok then!

RandomWorship

Aw. I think you should have left it. It's part of the fun of Jigidi, to learn about other lexicons!

Robbiel

Yes I think us colonials use it more than others. I changed it to the simpler "fancy"

RandomWorship

"Swish" is a common term here too, Robbie. (❛ᴗ❛)

Robbiel

Thank you Kirsten and Ardy, I agree. A Bermudian slang word for a fancy party Ardy. Put on by some parents for a young girl Jenny was nanny for. It was in New York, I stayed home and looked after my parents. Whew!

ringleader

Stunning is the word for this, Robbie, Wow. Thanks for sharing this.

BTW What is a swish party?

RandomWorship

WOW! Like a water fountain - but made of flowers! (❛ᴗ❛)
