redina1

Probably so, @kayboblee But 'normal' things are thrown out the window and who know what the rules are now?

Sissel

Thanks Willy :-)))

ladywil2

LOL

kayboblee

@redina1 Can people just go to work for a day or two and then draw unemployment? I thought you had to work a certain amount of time to qualify. Good grief if that is the way it works. ;-{

Sissel

Thank you so much Ianto, PW and Redina. Your husbound maybe right Redina :-))))

redina1

My husband suggested they apply, get hired, don't show up, get fired, get unemployment checks. Maybe...

ParsonWayne

That's the best kind of employee - that shows up and works.

Sad, but true.

Sissel

I think you are right Kay :-))))

kayboblee

They don't want the job--work--they want the paycheck. ;-{

Sissel

It is a sad thing Marina, and I don't understand it :-)))

Sissel

I have heard Kay. I don't understand people wanting a job and then don't show up :-))))

MarinaNephele

A sensible announcement: A lot of people apply for jobs but not that many show up in the end. Sad but true.

kayboblee

That is often the biggest complaint employers have these days--sad to say. ;-))
