Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I have seen a lot of these moths around this time of year and one landed on my knee when I was sitting outside the other day. I couldn't believe how long he was content just to sit there. When I tried to grab my phone out of my pocket, he flew away.

You are right jals. I can't imagine trying to teach with little ones playing with masks.

jals

Thanks Swimmergirl.
I've usually only seen them when they are fully grown.
I'll bet you are glad not to be teaching now with Kindergartners and masks.

Swimmergirl

Great shot. I think it is a Painted Lady. As an old kindergarten teacher, when we ordered the kits to watch them grow, that’s what we got. They grow all over the world.

That's funny, Val. Thanks for stopping by! ♥

lol Maria, no he didn't have holes in his wings.

Watchman

His orange spots on his wings match the color of the marigolds or he has holes in his wing.
