It's in the western part of Connecticut on rt. 7. The river it goes over is the Housatonic river which starts in northern Massachusetts. The area the bridge goes over was once on of the greatest trout fisheries in the world. It was very famous and people would come from everywhere to fish it. Eight years ago a regulating dam was removed 5 miles up stream and it destroyed the trout habitat. There are trout still in the river but as a result of the dam removal the water warms up too high to sustain larger trout. Now it's known for small mouth bass which do better in warmer water. It is a beautiful area especially in the fall.
A town in Connecticut
Is this somewhere in the New England states ?
I've fished below this very bridge many times. A beautiful area.
