The town centre with the tower clock in the British Midlands' market town of Rugby, Warwickshire, where I've spent several summers visiting with family on my Dad's side. This is where he grew up.

Interesting, John... thanks! I have cousins in Rugby I'm still in touch with, and I virtually "drive" around the town via Google Maps (street view). Still looks the same to me. :)

I moved from Rugby to Ireland, with my family, some 40 years ago, but my son now lives& works around the area. Last in Rugby some three or four years ago & find the centre very little changed.

You're so welcome, John! I last visited Rugby in 1984... and I miss it, and my dad's family who are mostly scattered around the area. Hope to get back one day... would love to must move there! Nice to "meet" someone else who's spent time in the area. :)

Spent my early working days (including apprenticeship at what was then English Electric) in Rugby, so this picture brings back many memories. Thanks so much for posting it.
