I don't know what this is a picture of, but it is Definitely NOT The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway! Sorry. The Causeway consists of Two Adjacent Parallel Spans that run as straight as can be. I'm a life-long native New me. ---Lise---

LOL!! chookies you are so funny!

What would happen if your car conked out half-way across. I'd be having kittens!!!

I'm with Jojo, it looks spooky to me too.

Any time Suzy! and you are right it is not purple, you look up and it is blue and you look down and it is blue! is like you are in heaven!

Easy and fun drive Jim! I really want to do it again, there is an amazing restaurant at the end of it! and they don't serve breakfast!!

It's not a frightening ride at all....but I've never seen it purple! :)
Great post, Gracie.
Wanna cross the bridge together sometime? :)

Grandmajojo! is not terrifying at all! I drove through that bridge about 10 years ago and it was fun, I'll do it again|!

this is a cool looking bridge. Love it.

I just read that the Pontchartrain Causeway is 23.83 miles (38.35 km) long. I thought the Confederation Bridge between PEI and New Brunswick in Canada 8 miles (12.9 km) was terrifying enough!

Even though the colour of the picture is stunning, I would be totally freaking out if I was having to travel across that!!
