Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Today we wool-up and visit Brown Station, an Argentine base and scientific research station in Paradise Harbor in the Antarctic.

The station was established in 1951 by Almirante Brown Naval Detachment. In 1964-1965 the Argentine Antarctic Institue took over the station and created one of the most complete biology laboratories on the Antarctic Peninsula. The original facilities burned down in 1984, and the station was rebuilt as a summer-only station.
As of 2014, the base spans a total area of 1.4 ha. and can house up to 18 people.

Much research from almost any imaginable natural science field has been developed from this secluded place on earth.

It looks really cold, right? But according to Wikipedia, the weather is mild for the area as the nearby mountains shelter from strong winds. The average annual temperature is 2 °C (36 °F).

If this sounds okay to you, it might interest you to know that Brown Station is a popular excursion destination for tourist expedition ships who, besides the exciting science station, come to meet Gentoo penguins and climb to the viewpoint above the station.

That might be what we are seeing in Today’s Daily Puzzle ♥

Máš pravdu, peníze jsou silnější, než zdravý rozum. U Usáků a jejich prohnilému a krvavému doláči toto platí dvojnásobně.

A magnificent spot, and a rare and potentially valuable opportunity for the scientific community. I can't help thinking, though, that the decision to open it up as "a popular excursion destination for tourist expedition ships" will significantly diminish its value. It is an unfortunate, shortsighted step that compromises science for the sake of tourist dollars. The managers of the station will, of course, put a different spin on this.

Je mně zima i z té fotky...

Interesting story!…hard to believe it’s over freezing degrees 🤔
Thanks Jigidi for this nice one 😊
