Lovely polished sea pebbles. I used to collect them when I were a kid but they lost their shiny nature when were taken away from the sea..Thanks.

Hi Deanna, thank you for your support and for thinking about us. Mum told me (I had forgotten) that one of her grandmothers had been from Glina (close to Petrinja) - so I have an ancestral link with the area. I do not know any of her siblings' descendants or other relatives though. The area has been badly affected indeed. Aftershocks caused further damage to the buildings, and the people there are really going through a tough and scary period as the ground has not settled yet.

-- Next, Sardinia - it is so nice to hear you were to Cagliari and the beaches in the vicinity. :) I hope you also post some of your recent photos soon! :) In the area, we were at the beaches of Domus de Maria, Santa Margerita, San Macario and Costa Rei. We decided to skip Cagliari though, so I hope to see some of your stuff. Thank you and have a good day! :)

Deanna

Hi Dulsineja, it must have been a scary experience, and I fully understand your reaction, I think I would do the same. The situation in the affected areas is certainly too difficult, poor people who have lost their homes. I'm so glad you're okay. The tremors was felt also in Central Europe, especially the last wave, it was weak but it was felt.
I'm really looking forward to more photos from the beaches in Sardinia. I was just on a short visit to Cagliari and I only have photos of sandy beaches, it was very nice. I wish you peace and pleasant days and I look forward to seeing you ♥:))

Hi Deanna, thank you, we are okay. In Slovenia, we felt several earthquakes/aftershocks that hit Petrinja/Glina in Croatia. I felt the strongest one, it was really dizzying and long, I could sense a ten-second shake. Instead of running, I was petrified. :-o In Croatia, things are really tough in the area presently, with a lot of devastation.

Pebbles - these are so lovely indeed! Some beaches in Sardinia are very long and you can really enjoy various colours and thicknesses of pebbles or sand as you go along. When I have some time, I will prepare new puzzles with more interesting stuff of this kind. :) You're welcome to come back for more.

Deanna

Dulsineja, these are very beautiful pebbles, thank you for your nice photo. At first I thought it was hail, probably because we have big frosts now. I hope everything is fine with you after the earthquake ♥:))
