Why are you reporting this puzzle?

This tiny estuary seahorse ‘almost hopped’ from one bit of bouncing natural debris to the next, bobbing around on a reef near Sumbawa Island, Indonesia.
As a brisk surface wind picked up, the seahorse took advantage of something that offered a stable raft: a waterlogged plastic cotton bud.

CJ45, Flu shots always mutate and they are usually developed for the year prior to when they occur. However there are enough little flu killers in the shot you get the next year, that it will weaken the bug so that you shouldn't feel that ill. (hopefully of course).
Plumpossum, I too get a fly shot every year and have never had the flu so I think we are doing something right.
TTwistedRosee, we too use that saying "we're all in this together" and we certainly are. I note that asny time I do go to the mall or pick up milk or eggs that people are very good about maintaining the 6 foot clearance of others and many, many are wearing masks. It is unfortunate that a few lame brains won't acknowledge the danger they may give to others by not covering up. Oh well, perhaps they are watching too much CNN and seeing your President not wearing one. I will stop there as I don't want you to misunderstand my feelings about him but gad ......... It makes me happy to have Trudeau until we get rid of him too. Enough politics now. I'm sorry you feel so upset about where you live and not enjoying the weather. We are experiencing weather that we have never experienced before. July 1st, was the coldest day in 60 years and we haven't even had many days over 68 degrees (20 celsius) that isn't overcast and cloudy. I haven't ever seen weather like this. You will survive all this as I know you are much stronger than you think. You're a fighter TTwistedRosee, so hang in there girl, it will all come out fine in the end. Hugs for you too:)) BE KIND, STAY CALM AND STAY SAFE.

TTwistedRosee

Yes I wear a mask anywhere I go, but I don't go many places, and I limit my time out. That's not that hard to do being that it is very hot and I detest where I live. I don't know when I will get to even see where I consider home again. I actually cry about that probably every week at least. Homesickness is real!

I had to look up doctor Henry. She seems nice. Here in USA they keep saying "We are all in this together". I laugh at that because we are certainly not in this together. If that were true people would not have hoarding tissue, soap, food, etc. I even had a hard time finding cat food at some points. Munchie only eats one flavor.

So I spend a lot of time on here, or reading or writing. I also sing. Well I have always done that. All day Friday I sang opera. It's my first love. My stomach hurts now, but it was so worth it.

Happy to know that you are taking care. Hugs:))

Flu shots are available here every autumn; I always get one, and have never had the flu. The new coronavirus, though, is a whole new ballgame.

CJ45

A vaccine has not been so successful for flu sadly as it mutates every year so what success will we have with this deadly virus.?

Gordon

Hi TTwistedRosee, I've wondered about you too. So far so good for me. I wear a mask pretty well I'm into a mall, and don't visit with anyone and am always well clear of anyone. I can hardly wait until they develop a vaccine for this plague. I hope you are staying well too. Let me put that another way .... BE KIND, STAY CALM AND STAY SAFE. Our Provincial Health Doctor, a Dr. Bonnie Henry, always closes off her reports with that plea. She is extremely popular here and most men just love her. (me too .. haha).

TTwistedRosee

Hey Gordon, just checking on you. Hope everything is okay:))

Gordon

Good for you. You can do it.

TTwistedRosee

I'm trying to stay afloat. I've been feeding a few feral and stray cats. Can't really afford to at times, but I'm a stray so I know every meal is welcome.

Gordon

TTwistedRosee, nice to see you back. Are you going to be around for awhile? I used to enjoy your puzzles. Looking forward to more.

TTwistedRosee

Seahorses can growl... found out a few years back on livescience.

Gordon

Thank you Sherry, I appreciate your kind thoughts and comments. I thought they were as cute as anything myself!!!

Hello, Gordon! I have just been looking at your puzzle postings and I dearly love your series "Unpaid Baby Sitters". How loving and patient the dogs all are. So sweet. Not so with this puzzle. It makes me very sad. Our world should not be the trash dump that we have made of it. We are losing entire species at an alarming rate and yet we do nothing about it. Shameful. I apologize for my rant, but this little guy should be clinging to a naturally occurring dock, not someone's trash. But he truly is so cute! Thank you for all of your puzzles. Sherry

Gordon

Thank you and the same to you!!

I had to have my gallbladder taken out a couple of years ago. The pain was unreal. I'm sorry you have not been. It took awhile for my body to adjust. Certain foods don't like me anymore. Take it easy!!

Gordon

Thank you TTwistedRosee, its nice to hear from you. I agree with your sentiments on this one! Other than spending five days in the hospital last week, (gallbladder stones) I've done o.k. They managed to settle it down with i/v antibiotics , but surgery the doctor says will come soon when they can get an O.R. to do it, so it'll probably be around December unless I have another attack by then.
Thanks for the comment, always good to exchange with you.

TTwistedRosee

I saw this picture on the news and thought it was sad. The man who took the picture said he was upset by the picture, because that cotton swab should not be in the water. Thanks for posting it Gordon. I hope that you had a pleasant summer:-))

Gordon

This photo was taken by Justin Hofman, and I just posted it. Thanks for the comment CJ45

CJ45

How exciting that you have seen these delightful creatures in their habitat as I have.
Thank you for the puzzle Gordon.
