Yes sadly it may sound like that jeri and yes you are correct but they did not have cameras in those days and we must thank all the artist for showing what it was like in their days the country sides the way people dressed and of couse their homes and how they lived. Sadly we still have nude Paintings from so many artists for mens fun at those times but it must have been a way to make money for them sadly.
How they found those women I have no Idea they must have paid a lot on money for them at the time.

then I go back and look for it. (and usually agree with what you saw)
I guess it's from your school days of training in art.
