Boys birthday bbq

What a grand idea that is, Anna! I am writing that down so I can surprise adults with it someday. :) The little umbrellas sound like the perfect touch!

One of my boys favorite cakes was my swimming pools. A round chocolate cake with chocolate biscuits around the sides for the edge of the pool. Blue jelly for the water. I used lollies for lilos and inflatable rings with little men in and on them. Round striped lollies for beach balls. Plus little cocktail paper umbrellas. It looked really impressive. You should try it one day, you don't have to have little children to impress, everyone loved it. Anna

I made a cake to look like a rocket once for our son. I had to label it "rocket", as it did not look at ALL like one!

I use to make very detailed fun kiddy cakes for both of them. Now they want cakes a little more plain. As long as its chocolate, they are happy. Anna
