Pammi

Thank you for your kind words, Marina. ♥♥

Very nice and sad in the same time puzzle. But as you write above, every time we think of our passed away friends they warm our hearts. Thanks.

Pammi

@tisketsmum

Thank you, tisketsmum. Even though we all have to deal with loss at times in our lives, it still always comes with that empty feeling inside and delivers a sadness that seems like a heavy burden. I only wish my brother could be here to see his children finally come together again after many years of estrangement from each other and from him. A case of too little, too late unfortunately.

tisketsmum

Pammi I'm so sorry for your loss, virtual hugs on their way.
I have/had 3 brothers and a sister, my sister being the baby of the family and 10 years my junior. My brothers all older than me but 4 of us born in under 6 years (mum would give a wry smile and say contraception wasn't then what it is now). My middle brother emigrated to Australia when he was 21 (I was 18) but came home to visit every few years and mum went out there twice. He died of cancer in 2007 aged just 60. My eldest brother is my rock and I can depend on for help if needed; the younger I don't have contact with now as he was really horrible when my mum died in 2016, and I keep in touch with my sister and see her now and again, but she and her husband live on a narrow boat so not much room to visit.
When we lose somebody of our own generation/siblings it makes me wonder who will be next, but I guess only death and taxes are inevitable so maybe best not to dwell.
Cherish the memories and give yourself time to grieve as it can pop up and bite us at the most unexpected times. Love tisketsmum xx

Pammi

Many thanks for your comment, thk. I love the beautiful words in your verse below. Yes, happy memories of your dear little Sarah will always be with you. Remembering my previous fur babies always brings a tear to my eyes. How I loved them. ♥♥

Pammi

Thank You for your comment. Yes Sarah will always be in my heart and in my mind.

I saw a puzzle that says it all " The most painful tears are not the ones that fall from your eyes and cover your face but the ones that fall from your heart and cover your soul"

Mrs_Quinn_Eskimo

Pammi - I put up four puzzle today 9/30/19 of the view as you drive around the fountain in Marshall, Michigan - Mrs. Quinn.

Pammi

Yes, it certainly is, Janet. ♥♥♥♥

Pammi

Kayell............onya mate. ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

Kayell

Tee hee, Pammi...! I worked with lots of lovely Aussies over the years and am always glad to add to my Strine vocabulary. Morning greeting from one of my favourites was always "G'dye, Poms...".

Impie

Thanks again, Pammi....I'm off to bed now! See you tomorrow! ♥♥

Pammi

Good morning, Lynette, PD, Ella and tisketsmum, thank you for your lovely comments. I know Impie will be touched by your thoughtfulness. ♥☺♥

Pammi

Impie, you are very welcome. Finding exactly the simple but meaningful words to express how I feel about your Goofie was a labour of love. ♥♠♥♠♥

Impie

....♥♥♥ ....

EllaMB

What a beautiful tribute, Pammi. Goofie surely is missed by so many of us who got to know him over the years.

tisketsmum

You got that right Pammi, we all miss Goofie.
Lovely poem and so true. ♥

PutterDutt

A beautiful tribute.

Lynetteoz

Beautiful words Pammi :-)

Pammi

Hi Kayell, I just wish we could all be there to give our mate Impie, a big collective hug. ♥♥♥♥

P.S. You sound more like an Aussie than I do. If you just say 'onya' by itself everyone here would know exactly what you mean by it. ☺☺☺☺☺ (Here endeth the lesson.) Ha! Ha! ♥♥

Impie

Thank you so much for posting this lovely tribute to my sweet boy, Pammi. I'm getting quite emotional here!♥♥
Yes....amongst every other day I still miss him, this is 'his' extra special day to remember. The loss of my other kitties before him did hurt quite a while, but never this long like with the loss of Goofie!!!! He was so special and I think only someone who experienced a similar very special bond with their pet, will understand!
Thank you my friend and thank you, nillie, mvrogers and Kayell for 'supporting' this lovely tribute with your lovely words! ♥♥

Pammi

So pleased we brought back happy memories for you, mvrogers. I think all we animal lovers have been in this situation at some time. ☺☺☺

Kayell

Good on ya, Pammi - great tribute...

Thank you! This came just after we lost KoKo - so nearly Goofie in profile. It cheered my heart .

Pammi

Thank you, nillie. Our friend Impie will be feeling a bit sad today which we of course can understand. ☺☺☺☺

nillie
