We woke up to several inches of snow yesterday and it didn't stop falling until mid-morning today. The prediction for Friday was "40% chance of snow, less than one inch (about 2cm)." We've had at least 8 inches (over 20cm).

Oh my just looks lovely but boy do I dislike the white stuff when it falls overhere especially when it's so much like in your pretty picture!! Thanks for sharing, nan!

we live in the mountains of western NC, a little town named Weaverville, about 10 miles north of Asheville. The Cherokee considered this the "dry ridge" and usually we don't get much rain or snow. This was special. nan

That's a lot of snow! What state do you live in, nanlein?

Wow nan, this looks fantastic but very, very cold. ☺☺☺☺

Pretty but my condolences.-Valerie

Soo, we don't get this much often, just every few years. And somehow it always surprises the weathermen!

Wow!! You got much more than us nan and this photo looks beautiful. We don't get snow very often, it looks nice as first but problems start when it melts and ices over ♥☺♥
