Seashore pattern made by the W.E. Corn pottery circa 1890's. Lovely shells and coral embossed on the bodies. The handle son the teapot and creamer features a dolphin head

Yes, I agree Lovewhite - who knows what was in the Designer's head! I have to say that in my opinion if the Dolphin's body was any thicker, it could look out of place. This really is a beautiful set and the "thumb rest" could be quite useful if the items are full. 😀

@jandchris the handles always make me smile, chuckle. I wonder why the designer has a dolphin head biting the handle and I wonder why the dolphins body is so thin..... For practical use the dolphin head makes a great thumb rest. There is another pattern that uses the same dolphin head handles
