Opened in 1802 and closed in 1939, this jail was home to many infamous individuals, including the country’s first supposed female serial killer, Lavinia Fisher. It is said that she – along with many others – still haunts the building. Apparitions, voices, as well as moving and disappearing objects are the norm.
