Bird, it is, then. Li is so fooled by her delusions that her pond is so Superior, she actually believes it now.

joyfulli

I like your message to @ParsonWayne, Mila.

WhiskersNFeathers

LOL I know Parson knows, but is wonderful he makes us laugh. And Parson you can call me Mila or Bird (former nickname) if you prefer.

joyfulli

I think Mila has her head on straight, Parson, and can see the truth!!!

ParsonWayne

She even has YOU bamboozles about her "Superior" pond, WNF.

joyfulli

Wow!! That's a huge complex. Do you get to know any of your neighbors? You're right, there's always a few people who are never satisfied and who love to complain.

I'm going to be in the 40'sF this week. Over night. That is why I got it. That it is, most of the time. With so many apartments here (568 I think) someone is always going to complain.

joyfulli

That sounds wise, Ianto. It must be hard when a landlord controls your heat.
Too bad, Mila. Sitting outside with a cup of coffee in the morning is a delight. I think some of our night have dipped into the 30s already -- 40s for sure. We haven't had a hard frost yet, though.

Burrrr.

WhiskersNFeathers

Here in south-central NC we had just a sprinkle but wind all day and today. It was 50 this morning with wind, we could not finish our coffee outside.

Yep, but the cold came in behind it.
I bought a small space heater today. it will help until the heat gets turned on.

WhiskersNFeathers

Oh and Li, if I was your neighbor, I would invite myself to join you in your adventures!
I LOVE secondary roads, country roads... my husband prefers highways, the fastest from point A to B.

WhiskersNFeathers

LOL love it! I have to say Parson that Li is right, her pond is indeed Superior. My husband and I drove once along Lake Erie and it was endless, and I think it fits three times in Li's lake. And I wish I was clever enough to come up with something bantering!

joyfulli

It's good you got it, then.

Yes I did.

joyfulli

You probably need it, Ianto.
:-|, Parson!!

ParsonWayne

See what I mean, Mila, about her conversations about her pond?

I have rain right now.

joyfulli

I just came home from driving through some very rustic forest service roads, Mila. My white car is now brown!!
I not only THINK so, Parson; I KNOW it's Superior!!!

ParsonWayne

Yes, Mila, we enjoy our bantering. Just don't get Li started on her pond that she thinks is so Superior.

WhiskersNFeathers

It all makes sense. I guess it all depends on what we are used to and our surroundings growing up. My husband would not have his vehicle dusty or muddy if he can help it.

joyfulli

Yes, bantering is the perfect word, Mila. Out in our rural areas, most of our roads are dirt. It costs a lot of money to pave and maintain roads in our area due to winter damage and frost heaves. And gravel would be swept up by snowplows in the winter. I've seen the way they groom the dirt roads with road graders, so they're really not that bad to drive on.

WhiskersNFeathers

Enjoyed the... how do you call that... oh yes bantering! Very ingenious. And must admit, I am not used to dirt roads, there is always some grass or pebbles etc.

joyfulli

:-), Parson!! Have a wonderful weekend.
It's good to hear that you cherish your childhood, Sylvia. I know your parents were wonderful, even because of the great trip they sent you on. Thanks, Sylvia.

lovesgulls

That was "best of Parson", lol!
I love country roads, they remind me of good old childhood times. I had the best childhood ever and I am thankful to my dear parents. Thankful to you, too, Li! Your photos are the best!

ParsonWayne

You have said that cloud enough, Li.

joyfulli

I think you should ad-mire our wonderful country roads, Parson! As far asphalt goes, it's really not that concrete. You can blame the fall of water from the sky!

ParsonWayne

What's the mudder with the road? I can't see any pavement.

joyfulli

Oh-oh!! Is your memory beclouded, Parson?

ParsonWayne

I had fog-otten that I had commented on this puzzle.

joyfulli

I haze-itate to say anything, Parson, because the puzzle wasn't even zero visibility!!

You are welcome.

ParsonWayne

I almost mist this puzzle, Li.

joyfulli

It really is, but we're still having some warmth to our days. Thanks, Irene.
Bless you, Ianto, for your encouragement. Thanks.

One of your best Li, and that is so many wonderful shots.
They are all great.

Jumble

It looks very much like Autumn is upon you Li.
