National Cat Day is observed each year on October 29th.

National Cat Day was founded to help the public recognize the number of cats that need to be rescued. The day also encourages cat lovers to celebrate the cats in their lives for the unconditional love and companionship that they bestow upon them.

Pay particular attention to your cat today. Adopt a new cat. Use #NationalCatDay to post on social media.

This day is sponsored by the Animal Miracle Foundation and was created by Pet Lifestyle Expert and Animal Welfare Advocate, Colleen Paige, in 2005. Since its inception, it has helped save the lives of more than one million cats.

Everyday is cat day in my house. -Valerie

National cat day is very special in this house .

Cats ya gotta love 'em... Lin, delighted Cesi has a happy home with you and Kristi! ♥ ♥ ♥

No I was late getting these out, couldn't sit here too long, :))

You sneaked this in today... Not here earlier when I looked.

I though every day was Caturday! But glad there's a national day too.

Yes it is Pink!! :))

A great day!! =^..^=

I tend to do that! :))

Ooops...and Joe. Ya snuck in on me. ; )))

Thanks, Bobbie! Took longer than norm to gain the poor baby's trust after all she'd be thru. Now...when I sit down with morn coffee, she makes a running LEAP for my lap! ; ))) My 16 yr old great great niece will stay here to see to Kristi and CeSi's needs while I'm 'away'.

So lucky she has a good home and is doing so well!!

Yea, for Ceci, glad tohear she is doing so well.☺♥☺

Such a delight!!! Unfortunately, there are far too many cats/kittens out there needing forever homes. My CeSi, after just two months of love and security... is adjusting quite well to the loss of her arm as well as her new-found home. Jumps, runs, gets into a lot of "No's", loves to cuddle, and ....has recently discovered if she hisses at Kristi -now- she'll receive a low ...growl! ; )))

Yes they are! :))

Aww, there all so cute.☺♥☺
