@dhi Thanks for the thoughtful comment. Stay safe and well.

You bring us such fascinating puzzles that evoke history, printing, bookmaking and the many splendid colours of vellum.
Wishing you well, take care.

@jals Thanks for the solve, comment and good wishes.
There remain things on the bucket list that age, physical limitations, political unrest and the pocketbook are likely to kibosh. But we have indeed been fortunate in our ability explore most areas of our world that are of interest to us and hope that at least a few more can be realized.

Great photo and puzzle, Jerry. Is there any place you haven't been, that you would like to visit yet?
Is your surgery tomorrow? If so, I pray it goes well and that you don't have too much pain.

@MarinaNephele Easily overlooked in such a great place. I also enjoyed parts of the collection of things he may have used as props in his paintings. Thanks for stopping by!

@Brian666 Best stick to a Kindle, Excellency. Far easier to replace than ages tomes! Plan a quiet dya today. Got most tasks done yesterday. Stay safe and well.

Thanks for this nice puzzle and books, Jerrys. I've been to the Rembrandt's House Museum many times, took loads of photos but I missed those. TFS.

@jerrys Holy bookbinders Sir Jerry, that’s where I left the books missing from the Embassy archives. They are beautiful and super work. Enjoy your day and relax......B

@JillianB Thank you, Jill. There was much to take in at this museum other than the artwork, and I found the arrangements of everyday things (his or things collected for display) particularly appealing.

I do really like the the varying shades of cream of Vellum. Apparently it needed to be calf-skin rather than cow hide for its process. Great photo of the lovely old books, thanks Jerry.
