While Yindee passes by behind her siblings in the company of Mumba’s ball, Vinh has come over to Sanuk, “asking” her to share some hay with him. Knowing Vinh, “asking” is not his word of choice. He still feels entitled to all the food in the enclosure. Nevertheless, things have changed. Although his tusks are growing nicely, Vinh is no longer prone to jab them into Sanuk’s behind. Instead, he might have taken a page out of Sibu’s book, and uses his increasing body strength to do some pushing and pulling to get food from Sanuk or from his mum. He doesn’t demand of Sibu and Yindee to share with him. Sanuk has to eat for two and is less inclined to give up her food. Here she keeps her trunk wrapped around some hay to safeguard it from her brother.
