Special times CJ45 23 July 2015 Hi divot02 Thanks for the puzzles that you have sent me and I will try and sort them out when I am not working at the weekend. My wife and I used to race on the sands at Black Rock beach in the south west of Wales in the 60's in our MG sports car doing the 1/4 mile. But we had to walk the beach first with all the other divers to make sure that there were no holes in the sand that would turn our cars over. Oh they were the days no crash helmets or seat belts and we are still here. LOL!!! divot02 23 July 2015 Hi CJ. It was great fun. All consuming but fun. I was lucky in that this type of racing was very popular in Ca. in the 70s. We would have 400 plus entries and lots of folks taking pics. Some who sold them to us. This one I just received from an old friend via Facebook. I have never seen it before. CJ45 23 July 2015 Hi divot02 Wow how exciting that you have pictures from your racing years. We raced our Ducat's 175cc. in 1961/2/3 and never got any where but it was really exciting. Then raced MG's when I met my wife in 1966 but no photos unfortunately. divot02 23 July 2015 Hi CJ that would be me on a Honda MT125r in 1978 CJ45 23 July 2015 Hi divot02 do you know what he is riding 125cc or 250cc by the look of the tyres.?.
