Thank you everyone. We got a private tour of the capitol (they didn't want to put us in with a bus load of kids). I told the tour guide we could take the stairs and she said we could, but she would meet us up on the third floor.....whew, sure glad she didn't take me up on it!!! :)

I'll take the elevator too, easier to carry O2 that way. :))~ hugs for you my friend and hope you are doing fine. xx♥♥

Laura, I guess that's how we all are sometimes. Some things are so close, we put it off and never do it. This was the first time I have actually visited Springfield since my 8th grade field trip! Most things are free with the Lincoln Presidential Museum being an exception and it is also a must see.

Impressive. I am in Springfield all the time and have never stopped to see inside the state cap building.
