Why are you reporting this puzzle?

When Monet was 16 he was already well-knowned for his caricatures. He said that he has earned significant amount of money by drawing some of the folks of Le Harve.

Every Sunday, when 5 or more of his new caricatures hung in a farmer's shop window where the Le Harve townsfolk would gather and had a good time laughing when they recognised themselves or their friends.

1st of a set of caricatures by Claude Monet. Please enjoy and have a good laugh.

Cheerio, Jason :-)

I also post puzzles at jasonchung2 (my main account).

Thank you Bubble for solving this puzzle.

Yes, I posted 4 of Monet's caricatures.

Most of his work that I post are landscapes and seascapes.

Thank you for asking. John and I are doing fine :-))

I hope that all is well with you. Have a great weekend :-)

Best regards, Jason.

Enjoyed this last (I think) in the Monet theme - hope all is well, my friend and you and John are enjoying the weekend. xx (❀ᴗ❀)

An author wrote his name as Oscar-Claude Monet.

Thank you Wendy.

I know he has Oscar and Claude in his name, but forget which one comes first. All I can remember was that he was called Oscar by his parents but later he preferred to be called Claude. I will check again on the correct arrangement of his name.

He was named Oscar-Claude Monet by his parents. That was how he signed his earlier drawings. I will check up further on this.

Thanks jeribar8, that certainly solves the mysterious O..........Wendy

I looked it up...
His middle name is Oscar. ~~ Claude Oscar Monet ~~

These were amazing. Had no idea he did caricatures at such an early age. I was also wondering what ParsonWayne said, he signed them O Monet! These were great Jason..........Wendy

I noticed he signed his caricatures "O Monet", Was Claude his Middle name?

You are most welcome, Jeri.

Laughter is the best medicine, even when we do not need any medication ;0

Dear Judy, I am generally feeling much better. Just have to take better care of myself and not to overstrain.

For the past few weeks, I spent more time at jasonchung2 where I post my own computer "mosaics".

I hope everything is going on well with you and your loved ones.

Warm regards, Jason.

Jason, thank you for posting these and giving me a good laugh !

How interesting he did caricatures. One of my sons has a good friend that does this type of artwork.
I was just wondering how you are, Jason, haven't seen you around for a while. I hope everything is well with you.
