I'd say it's the cork head, Maggie, but if the artist captured Pat on one of her walks, she wouldn't want to be called Corky. :-)

And to add to the poison ivy (or perhaps as a result thereof?) the person in the blue coat is either walking toward you with the face of an Amish doll or walking away from you with a cork for a head.

I am going with a painter so excited at being able to use all the colours in the paint box that he forgot to finish his bobble doll



That is some seriously out of control poison ivy at that! I'm also reminded of another painting you posted of a woods scene that looked like parts of it were on fire. You don't suppose the two painters hung out in the same part of the world, do you? All that aside, this painting reminds me very much of the the French countryside in the Dordogne area. It could be the same walk I have taken a couple of times. Nice memory. :-)
