Thanks, mwuff! :-)))))))))))))))
Well, make sure you are taking care of yourself so that you are feeling better by the time the holiday arrives. Not much else you can do about it, other than wait it out and get lots of rest which it seems you are already doing. Be well, my friend.
Not really, and now it's Sunday.... I guess I should say that the fever is gone, but it wasn't all that high to begin with, but I'm still coughing and nose blowing and feeling like death warmed over, so I sleep a lot, and not much else...I thought the antibiotics were helping very quickly, but I guess that was optimistic, because I'm still miserable. But I am still hoping that I'll be better by Thursday--I don't want to mess up the celebration...!
Sorry I missed this last night. By the time I finished your Deeply, Darkly puzzle, I was extremely tired and shut down the computer without checking for new comments. But luckily Mandy and Robbie came through for you. And therefore when I saw the xylophone today, I was very surprised.
So how are you feeling today?? Any signs of improvement?
And, guess what--I need some advice! I know, big surprise----NOT! Anyway, I spent a LOT of (literally) feverish time drawing a puzzle, which I called a xylophone. I wasn't sure which way to slant the top sections--I drew the big middle part first, then added the bottom. I ended up deciding on this arrangement. So I have 2 questions--do you like the original or the embossed version better, and should I try making the top section slant in the other direction before I post any version, just to see if it makes it a more interesting design?
It really was a lot of work for a stupid simple arrangement, especially since it won't jig very large (I haven't tried stretching it, though), and I hope to salvage at least a decent puzzle out of it, so any input would be wonderful!
And, of course, that applies to anyone else reading this, as well!!! :-))) Thanks!
Fun puzzle, PD. I wouldn't have recognized it except for the title.
Thanks so much, Mandy and Mimi--and it is fun to play around this way! I'm glad you like it!
I did see it, Norma--absolutely precious! :-))))))))))))))))))))))))
This puzzle is great. i enjoyed it and it's interesting to look at too!
Just posted a 7-wk photo-----
Pat, this is brilliantly done, I love the way you've randomly filled the background shapes behind the shapes - it looks like you are having more fun than ever before!!!
