Ah, yes. The famous museum in Austin, Minnesota. Lela, I was really laughing at your rendition. But seriously, Spam and Hormel have done much to the economy in southern Minnesota. As a Minnesota residence I do appreciate that. But it is SO processed. I used to eat it, but no more.
Congrats to your dad Robbie and hope he enjoys his tootling about. Sorry to hear you have such an icon on your computer - I think I'd be disabling it permanently! My neighbour used to feed me lard sandwiches, never did me any harm. You must miss the deep fried battered haggis and the lorne (square) sausage too.
Robbie take a look at that guy with the motorbike, does he look like he does fried black pudding and Mars Bar in batter? Think about your poor innards while I think of his outards:)
Hi Witzy, I solved this twice almost! I was almost finished when there was a loud bang on the door, I jumped up in fright, my finger pressed an icon and the puzzle disappeared!! It was my dad to tell me he passed his car test for another two years. He will be 87 next week, so he is happy. Anyway, I did enjoy solving again, only 7:41, it is a fun puzzle. Forget the spam, just give me what I used to have in Pitlochry with my Aunt. Deep fried black pudding and Mars bar!!!! A lot healthier than Spam!!! Thanks.
I was amazed there's a museum of the stuff also Joyce. We were given it battered and deeeep fried at school. Not quite as bad as the 'fish' balls though.
EGADS!!!!!!!!! A museum for one of the worse ''food?'' items EVER!!! Yech, blaaaahhh, gross!!! I have to say, it was a fun puzzle though. LOL Thanks Jen!! :))))) (time, 6:25) ps/the customers could have been Ken & me!!! LOL
Or Lobster Thermidor aux crevettes with a mornay sauce served in a provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and a fried egg on top and spam.
Wife: Have you got anything without spam?
Waitress: Well, the spam, eggs, sausage and spam That's not got much spam in it
Wife: I don't want any spam!
Customer: Why can't she have eggs, bacon, spam and sausage?
Wife: That's got spam in it!
Customer: Hasn't got much spam in it as spam, eggs, sausage and spam has it?
(Choir: Spam! Spam! Spam!...)
Wife: Could you do me eggs, bacon, spam and sausage without the spam, then?
Waitress: Iiiiiiiiiiiich!!
Wife: What do you mean 'Iiiiiiiiiich'? I don't like spam!
(Choir: Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!)
Waitress (to choir): Shut up!
(Choir: Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!)
Waitress: Shut Up! Bloody Vikings! You can't have egg, bacon, spam and sausage without the spam.
Wife: I don't like spam!
Customer: Shush dear, don't have a fuss. I'll have your spam. I love it, I'm having spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, baked beans, spam, spam, spam, and spam!
