l know Dil, love this poppy too.
Very pretty Surfer!
Love this one too PLG.
My pleasure nicco
Just love poppies, & this 'fringed' one is gorgeous. Burning the ends of the stems to enjoy them indoors is something I didn't know about. Thanks, surfer.
Hello to you bee, it was my pleasure to post this poppy.
Hello surfer3 , thanks for this beautiful picture
oops meant to say 1 1/2 " of water in a potbellied glass. Burning the stem ends allows them to take in the water. Enjoy
I grow California poppies too, they reseed themselves readily but never thought of bringing them inside. What you are doing with your poppies sounds great.... :)
Hi Sunny, l googled poppies, found this and several others unfamiliar to me, sure would love to grow some of them. l do grow the California poppies, to bring them inside l burn the ends of the stems, place them in 1 1/2' pot bellied glass with ferns and the container holds them from dropping petals, will live 3-4 days and looks good!
Thank you davi for your comment, happy you like the poppy.
Beautiful! I didn't know that poppy can be so shaggy....must be a new hybrid, surfer?
This is a very nice flower, surfer!
