Thanks for the link Dave. I see now it was Buzz that bought the machine. He didn't build it. The part about the accident wasn't mentioned in the article but maybe it's some where in the comments. I did'n't read all of them.
I never wanted anything like the Road Dog for myself but have always admired a person's gumption to build an ride something like this.
BTW. I don't like the spelling RoadDog and just make it two words because.
Not many is the standard answer but it may have been 4 or 5. The problem was going around corners. You had to plan ahead. The way I remember it it was wrecked by a journalist doing a story on it and never repaired. When I tried to research it I found no part of that story but several that said there was more than one of them. I don't believe that. I think there was only one Road Dog and it was owned by the Walneckie family. Got tired of trying to find answers that corresponded to my memories so I gave up. This picture and supposedly this bike is the one I remember from the Walneckie Motorcycle Magazine in the 70's.
