Thanks for telling me Susan. :-))
Neighbor was pleased that I contacted you and you replied. She said, "Hietpas fam lived in the Netherlands and left in 1851 and came over to the United States on a boat/ship called “North Carolina” and landed in New York. They settled in Little Chute, Wi." Love the small world I live in. Susan
Thank you LOTS. Going to pass your info on to neighbors. They said the Dutch branch of the family is no longer so they had no one to ask. Susan
It looks Dutch but I've never seen nor heard of it before.Phon. Pron: hi:t pa:sdutch: heatpahs
Had to give Google Translate a shot at the Dutch Language. What would one do without it on Jigidi? I have a neighbor whose surname is Hietpas. When asked how to pronounce it, we were told it was a Dutch name and they were never sure they pronounced it properly. Does it look Dutch to you? If so, how would it sound phonetically in English? Susan
Hoi Susan. Ik heb aangegeven dat ik ze in het weekend zou posten of misschien eerder.Ik zal ze morgen op je afsturen.
Vraag je andere helft wat er met de 4 identieke leeuwen is gebeurd. Susan
Thank you susan. You're welcome. :-))
That was a FUN puzzle! It took a while to feel the design, but that's part of the challenge. Susan
