Why are you reporting this puzzle?

i took this image with a "smart phone" in an airport about two years ago, and i dont want to be like any one of them, maybe you are happy in this sort of way as brain dead, to be so stupid, but i frown on it, i wouldn't want to be like you

rah1st and sbwilner, they are not big business men doing stock market make that deal now or anything like that, some of them maybe be school children doing home work, but i know you know better,so they are not doing school work, and they are brain dead, its called "dumbing down", its happening to me to at this very moment i type, i am becoming more stupid with ever letter i type, they are social media, sort out my lack of punctuation on your own, i dont do grammar for internet unless its something special, and this is not

when i was in that airport, all i knew to do is pay attention to everything single thing around me, and i have been overseas many many times,

Good luck :)

I agree rah1st, they are being solitary, but certainly not brain dead from what I can see. They don't all have earphones on. My one caveat is walking out in public staring down at a screen, that is too dangerous in so many forms. I only use my phone for calling cabs or texting my son when I'm out, I just haven't gotten used to using it every second, and it's an old Blackberry which isn't hooked up to the net, except for phone and text.

What we've lost with these little mind bombs is the ability to strike up and make conversation and certainly the ability to use the written word effectively. I deplore those losses. But, no, those people weren't brain dead, just preoccupied...Sherry :)))
